Preparation for Professional Life Training Held for Students of the Faculty of Health Sciences

On October 21, 2026, a training session titled "Preparation for Professional Life: CV Writing and Interview Techniques" was held for students of the Department of Health Management, organized through a collaboration between the Mersin University Career Center, İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency), and the Faculty of Health Sciences. The session, led by İŞKUR Job Club Leader Eren Aslan, covered topics such as job search processes, the creation of effective resumes (CVs), key considerations for job interviews, and various interview techniques. Participants received practical guidance on methods to stand out in job applications, insights into employer expectations, and skills for communicating effectively during interviews. Additionally, the importance of "job shadowing" in gaining professional experience was highlighted.

The training, which aimed to enhance both the professional competencies and career awareness of Health Management students, focused on employment opportunities within the healthcare sector and essential considerations for the transition into the workforce. At the conclusion of the program, Prof. Dr. Fatma İnce Çırak, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, presented a certificate of appreciation to İŞKUR Job Club Leader Eren Aslan for his contributions to the training. The event concluded with the presentation of the certificate and a commemorative group photograph.
