epresentatives of the Automotive Technology Program at Mersin University Technical Sciences Vocational School visited businesses operating in the automotive sector to strengthen university-industry collaboration and support students' professional development.

The first visit was made to the business operated by Mr. Şafak, who has professional experience in automotive electronics, advanced fault diagnosis, and vehicle software systems. During the meeting, current technical challenges in the automotive industry, diagnostic procedures, and recent technological developments were discussed. Potential collaboration opportunities, including technical seminars, hands-on workshops, technical visits, and industry support for student projects, were also evaluated.

Following this visit, representatives of the program visited MANCI Kemal Authorized Service Center, where discussions focused on automotive maintenance and repair practices and potential joint activities aimed at improving students' technical knowledge and professional skills.

These visits aimed to establish stronger connections between vocational education and industry, enabling students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience and gain insight into current industry requirements.

We sincerely thank Mr. Şafak and the representatives of MANCI Kemal Authorized Service Center for their hospitality and willingness to contribute to vocational education.
