A Visit to Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Duygu VEFİKULUÇAY YILMAZ, from the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing

Faculty members from the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing at the Mersin University School of Nursing—Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diğdem LAFÇI BAKAR, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru YILDIZ KARADENİZ, and Research Assistant Hatice ŞEN, met with our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Duygu VEFİKULUÇAY YILMAZ, on October 16, 2026.

During the meeting, efforts to enhance practical training opportunities in nursing education and to strengthen the physical infrastructure and equipment of the Nursing Skills Laboratory were discussed. In addition, they exchanged views on the preparation process, organizational planning, and opportunities for academic collaboration regarding the 9th National and 5th International Congress on Basic Nursing Care, which is scheduled to take place in two years.

The meeting concluded with discussions aimed at enhancing the quality of nursing education, developing the educational infrastructure, and strengthening scientific collaborations.
